Co-curricular Activities
At Scoris International School, we value the students' desire to explore their passions and interests outside the classroom environment. With a wide range of clubs to choose from, students are able to develop new skills, collaborate, and have fun. In this segment, we will take a closer look at the various clubs offered at our school.
Sports Club
For students who love to stay active, engaged and widen their vocabulary scope, our school offers several sports activities like chess, scramble, monopoly, ludo, snakes and ladders.
These activities provide a great opportunity for our students to improve their skills, work as a team, and engage in competitions not only internally (in school) but also externally (out of school).
Zumba Club
Our school also offers Zumba classes led by our vibrant coach. They are a fun and energetic way to stay fit and active. As the Zumba group, our students have had numerous opportunities to perform openly during school assemblies and other functions like Graduation Day, Cultural Day, and Awards Day. We are also looking forward to holding competitive sessions both internally and externally with other international schools next academic term.
Debate & Writer's Club
Our students train in different disciplines like debate, public speaking, spoken word poetry and creative writing. They participate in various global and local competitions like World Scholars cup, Olympia debates, Model United Nations among others. The club proudly represented Uganda in the 2025 My World Video Challenge, organized by the British Council, emerging as the Sub Sahara Africa and Global winner. Building on this success we continue to nurture excellence and inspire students to reach their full potential.
Interact & Red Cross Club
At Scoris International School, community service is at the heart of what we do, and the Interact and Red Cross Club offers students an ideal platform to give back. With an enthusiastic team, the club engages in volunteer work, fundraising, social campaigns, and community service projects. In 2024, they participated in the Kitezi outreach and visited Noah's Ark Orphanage. They also led impactful anti-bullying and anti-drug abuse campaigns. The club has actively participated in raising awareness about social problems and runs yearly campaigns to educate communities and equip them with the skills needed to overcome the daily challenges they face.

For students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), our school offers a Robotics Club. This club provides a hands-on learning experience, where students can design, build, and program robots and so much more!.
